Having experienced incarceration in nine institutions and serving state and federal probation, he founded a nonprofit focused on job development, entrepreneurship, and essential life skills for reentry populations. Armand has successfully managed three reentry homes and contributed to key committees, including the San Diego County Prop 47 committee and the California State and Community Corrections Adult Reentry Grant Committee, where he helped distribute over $200 million in grants. Currently, as a court expert with over 1,000 hours of advocacy, he addresses cases involving gangs, human sex trafficking, and the Racial Justice Act. His work demonstrates a profound commitment to justice and rehabilitation, striving to break the cycles of incarceration and promote societal equity.
